Some of you have my old, humongous marketing checklist but in raw form. After chatting with a client yesterday, I decided to spend some time updating and expanding the document.
DO NOT BE OVERWHELMED by the efforts required in selling your books. Marketing is crucial to success, and it can be exciting.
One of our members hiked a gigantic mountain in Estes Park, Colorado. He climbed through the Keyhole at Longs Peak (both are pictured below) and made the summit in rough conditions. He plans to do this AGAIN, now 30 years later. Let's all be inspired by his fortitude and take note that we can accomplish anything. As he puts it in his upcoming memoir, we must put "one foot in front of the other" and "inches become feet, feet become miles."
